A swirly cloud of something that looked like fog filled the room, and then faded into the night. A man lay sleeping in a bed, covers pulled up to his chin. The clock next to him showed "6:59", then quietly flipped to "7:00" and began to beep.

Jim was asleep, and right in the middle of a very exciting dream, when the loud beeping of the alarm woke him up. He blinked his eyes a few times, rolled over and turned off the alarm. He lay there in bed for a moment, remembering what he was supposed to do today. Whatever it was, it had to be better than yesterday, he thought - today is a brand new day!

After laying there quietly for a moment, Jim:

He rolled over and saw a mop of tousled hair on the pillow next to him. His companion's face was turned away from him, and her body was obscured by the covers, which were pulled all the way up. How had she gotten here? Who was she? He couldn't remember. And he was afraid to pull the covers back to reveal the truth. Finally, after some internal debate, he:

"Yo man, it's too early to get up. Go back to sleep." The male voice chided.

Jim was at a total loss. It wasn't everday that he woke up with strangers in his bed, and it was a dude to boot. Jim pulled the covers back. His bedfellow was a huge, muscular stud, completely naked. He was already asleep again and snoring. Jim shook the guy again.

"Don't dude me! Who are you? Get the hell out of my bed."

The stranger reached out and smacked Jim on his chest. Hard.

"Let me sleep or I'll kick your ass. Got it?" Followed by more snoring.

Jim decided it was probably best to do as the man said. Judging from that smack on the sternum, this dude could do some damage.

Jim got up out of his own bed (vanquished, what a way to start the day) and moved towards the living room. He decided to call the police and have Nature Boy dealt with by guys with guns and clubs.

As he quietly closed the bedroom door and tip-toed to the living room, he heard a female voice ask...
