A swirly cloud of something that looked like fog filled the room, and then faded into the night. A man lay sleeping in a bed, covers pulled up to his chin. The clock next to him showed "6:59", then quietly flipped to "7:00" and began to beep.

Jim was asleep, and right in the middle of a very exciting dream, when the loud beeping of the alarm woke him up. He blinked his eyes a few times, rolled over and turned off the alarm. He lay there in bed for a moment, remembering what he was supposed to do today. Whatever it was, it had to be better than yesterday, he thought - today is a brand new day!

After laying there quietly for a moment, Jim:

He rolled over and saw a mop of tousled hair on the pillow next to him. His companion's face was turned away from him, and her body was obscured by the covers, which were pulled all the way up. How had she gotten here? Who was she? He couldn't remember. And he was afraid to pull the covers back to reveal the truth. Finally, after some internal debate, he:

Jim quickly finished his "call of nature" and crept back into his bedroom. The mystery woman was still sleeping soundly with her back to him. As Jim quietly approached the bed she moaned softly and turned toward him. Although her raven hair obscurred her face Jim could clearly see the outline of a mammoth chest as it shifted beneath the sheet. Not understanding how this turn of events had occured but not wanting to miss out on a golden opportunity, Jim quickly slid under the covers and pressed up against her. She then stretched, yawned and pulled the dark hair from her face to reveal...
